A1 'concrete' top

Job and Niels are students at the HMC in Rotterdam (a school for woodworking, furniture- and interior design) and had their final test to reproduce a piece of furniture. Originally this sideboard was made with marble on top. First, they wanted to make the top of GFRC, glass fibre reinforced concrete, but because the concrete was too heavy and not strong enough, they chose for A1 (Acrylic One). This resulted in an oak sideboard with a robust A1 'concrete' top!
